Reasonable adjustments
As a college, we are committed to ensuring all students are given a fair experience when sitting their examinations. Tutors will conduct assessments to determine whether or not any reasonable adjustments are required to support you in your examinations. This may include one or more of the following:
- A prompter
- Extra time
- A scribe
- A reader
- A modified examination paper

When your examination results arrive at college you will be notified. Certficates can take longer to arrive and, once received, these will be posted to you by the Exams Officer.

This information is to help you to prepare for your examinations and to know who is supporting you throughout this process.
Sonal Wakes is the college’s Exams Officer. She will ensure you are registered and entered for the correct qualifications and that you are provided with your results when these arrive at college.
Oliver Sandell is the Exams and Accreditation Coordinator. He oversees all of the qualifications and examinations students undertake at college. He will support with any appeals and/or suspected cases of malpractice. Oli provides annual training to Invigilators to ensure they are fully compliant with the latest JCQ guidelines.
