Students at National Star in Wales tested their core stability and stamina when they tried their hand at surfing.

Our Mamhilad Curriculum Manager, Becca Roberts said: ‘After hearing so many students get excited about the idea of surfing, I knew we needed to find a way to make this possible. That’s when we discovered Surfability UK.’

Working with Surfability UK allowed students to spend the day at the beach learning the basics of surfing and testing out their new skills on the open water.

Surfability is revolutionising the world of surfing by providing inclusive experiences for people with additional needs.

Their dedicated team combines expertise in special education, health care, surfing, and lifeguarding to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all.

Each one of our students needs were met, each of them proving to themselves that they can achieve more than they think.
