Job description

We are excited to share that we are continuing to expand our network of charity retail shops across Gloucestershire and will soon be opening a new shop in Brockworth, Gloucester. Our charity shops are vital in supporting National Star’s aim to transform the lives of young people with disabilities.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic retail manager to help build a new team whilst driving forward the launch of the new shop.

You will use your creativity, communication and customer service skills to generate quality donated stock. It’s likely that you will understand merchandising, presenting clothing, homeware and books in a way that will encourage maximum sales.

It also goes without saying that you will be confident in recruiting, training and managing a team of volunteers and a part-time deputy manager.

We would prefer that you have some flexibility on the days you can work and that you have access to transport to be able to cover shifts at some of our other stores if required.

To discuss this role in more detail please contact our recruitment team on 01242 504300.
