Job description

National Star are looking for person centred, dynamic and proactive Care and Support Workers (Facilitators) to support residents with physical and learning disabilities at our residential home, Foundation House, in Gloucester.

As a Facilitator you will provide high standards of support for our residents with their personal care, therapy, social and work activities. You will be self-motivated and able to use your initiative and demonstrate a positive attitude towards the aspirations of adults with disabilities.

The role is based at our long term living facility in Gloucester. You will be required to work early morning, day and evening shifts as well as alternate weekends.

Previous care experience is preferred for this role, however we have an excellent induction programme and ongoing training will be provided to help you further your career and gain qualifications to support you in this role.

We also love to support our residents with activities in the local community so we would prefer you to hold a full driving licence and be willing to be trained to drive our minibus.

Interviews will be held during the course of the advertisement – please apply early as we may close applications when positions are filled.

Please note that unfortunately we are not able to offer sponsorship for this role.
