Job description

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Job Coach to work on a new Work Outcomes programme, for learners with an EHC plan, in Bristol.

The successful candidate will join our experienced team of learning support staff, job mentors and teaching team to develop and deliver work outcomes that achieve the best results for each individual student. You will be working primarily in a community based location with learners on a Skills for Work programme, though there may also be a requirement to work with other cross college learners.

The purpose of this role is to support learners with a range of SEN to develop the knowledge, understanding and skills that enable them to secure sustainable paid employment or voluntary work on leaving college.  You will be required to deliver work-based workshops and will work with learners to assess skills and aspirations related to employment to ensure work placements are sustainable and meet the needs of individuals. The role will require you to job carve, use Systematic Instruction Training and other employability models to enhance skill development. The ability to network and liaise effectively with employer partners and broker outcomes is essential.
