Thank you for attending our face-to-face life after college transition event at National Star in Ullenwood on Friday 25 October.

It was great for our students and their families to meet exhibitors, explore job and volunteer placements, and speak with local clubs and groups to join post-college.

Guest speakers offered invaluable advice to families and carers on benefits applications and the ins and outs of setting up supported living services.

We were delighted to see former students Elliot, Chesca, Aid and Jason who shared their journeys since leaving National Star – your experiences mean so much to our current students and their families.

Transition Talks

Our transition event features talks on applying for benefits post-National Star, including Universal Credit, setting up parent-managed supported living services, with Q&A sessions and a group of former learners talk about their experiences since leaving National Star.

The talks are free to attend. All we ask is that parents and carers register to attend the talks event so that we can manage the number of external visitors on site during the day.
