Makaton is the UK’s leading programme for adults and children with learning or communication difficulties. It combines signs, symbols and speech to give different options for people to communicate. Makaton is used by some of our students at National Star.
This exciting challenge is perfect for children and adults to learn some basic Makaton words and phrases. So, by the end of the month, you will be able to communicate with confidence having learnt a new skill.
There’s no registration fee and no fundraising target, but every penny you raise will go towards supporting young people with complex disabilities.
